SES volunteers help

MORE Rose City volunteers will head to flood ravaged areas of Queensland to offer their assistance today.

Local SES controller, John Newley said six more Warwick SES members would be deployed today, heading to Roma to help with the clean up effort.

He said they joined three other volunteers from the Rose City and one Stanthorpe member who were earlier sent to St George.

"The ones out at St George have been door knocking, flood boat operating and looking after requests for assistance," Mr Newley said.

The deployments came only days after Warwick SES's latest recruitment drive and Mr Newley said it showed just how important the volunteer organisation was.
