SCHOOL SPORT: Seven schools shared the trophies after the final day of the Foxtel Broncos Cup school netball competition at Barnes Park.

While Goondiwindi netballers won the three cup finals, Stanthorpe High, St Joseph's, Assumption College, Allora State School, Warwick High and Inglewood State School also claimed trophies.

Warwick High led the points table in A-grade netball before going down to Goondiwindi in the final.

In rugby league, Assumption College beat Warwick High 28-16 in the A-grade final. Tom Bell, from Assumption, was player of the final.

Goondiwindi defeated Assumption 24-10 in the B-grade final, with Trae Bennetto (Goondiwindi) named player of the final.

In a change to the competition format, all rugby league and netball games were played on two full days, at Goondiwindi and Warwick, rather than over a six-week period.

Most grades had six teams but there were nine in C-grade netball.

Broncos official Wayne Weekes, who is involved in game development, travelled to Warwick to present trophies.

Netball finals: A-grade cup (top two teams): Goondiwindi High d Warwick High 26-21; player of the final Laura Jobling (GSHS).

B-grade cup: Goondiwindi High d Assumption 10-8; Kiah Murray (ACW).

C-grade cup: Goondiwindi High d Texas 15-2; Chloe Pasler (GSHS).

A-grade plate (for third place): Stanthorpe High d Assumption 18-15; Jasmine Olzard (ACW).

B-grade plate: St Joseph's d Texas 21-8; Hannah Debnan.

C-grade plate: Assumption d Warwick High 10-5, Felicity Parsons(ACW).

A grade bowl (fifth v sixth): Allora 15 d Warwick High 14; Xanthe Esson (Allora).

B-grade bowl: Warwick High2 d Clifton High 22-19; Megan Kelly (WSHS)

C-grade bowl: Inglewood d St Joseph's 10-9; Kira St John (St Joseph's).
