VIDEO: 3 adults and girl, 10, taken to hospital after crash
12.20PM UPDATE: PARAMEDICS transported four people to hospital, including a 10-year-old girl, after a crash on the corner of Alice and Richmond Sts about 9.30am on Tuesday.
The four-car crash closed Alice St for about two hours.
Maryborough Ambulance Station officer-in-charge Jeremey Woods said paramedics assessed eight people at the scene.
"One of the patients had to be cut out of the car," he said.
Mr Woods said the woman was not trapped, but the doors in the car did not open after the impact of the crash.
A man, another woman and a 10-year-old child were also taken to hospital.
He said injuries ranged from chest pain to general cuts and bruises.
Mr Woods said doctors from Devine Medical Centre helped provide medical treatment until paramedics arrived.
10.30AM UPDATE: QUEENSLAND Ambulance paramedics are believed to have taken three adults and one child to the Maryborough Base Hospital after a crash involving four cars on Tuesday morning.
Alice St between Richmond St and Bazaar St in Maryborough remains closed while Queensland Police clear the crash site.
Initial information said there was five cars involved in the crash.
EARLIER: Multiple people have been injured in a five-car crash on the corner of Alice and Richmond St in Maryborough.
Police are urging motorists to avoid the area.
It is not clear how many people have been injured in the smash.
Police, fire and ambulance crews are on the scene.
