Shared zone trial set to end this afternoon

THE Southern Downs Regional Council have confirmed the trial of the shared zone along the Victoria St end of Palmerin St will end around 4pm today.
The signs will be removed and the speed limit reverted back to 50km/h.
It was put in place by the Southern Downs Regional Council in early October as a compromise between Warwick State High School and surrounding business.
The shared zone left students and motorists equally confused and many worried an injury would occur.
