Shaved hair set to become wig for cancer sufferer
ROSIE Favero has spent the past three years growing the beautiful blonde locks that fall down her back but now it's someone else's turn to wear her hair.
The Bellevue Cafe owner will be making a bold move to bald, shaving her head to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Not only that, but Rosie's hair will then be donated to create a wig for a special person battling cancer.
Rosie brushed off suggestions she was making a brave decision and said she was looking forward to the new look and helping such a great cause.
"I am really excited - I can't wait but that might change on the day," she said.
"I just thought it was time to start helping out in the community and I have wanted to do this for a long time."
Melody Hempel, from Mel's Hair Studio, will cut Rosie's hair outside the Bellevue Cafe next Saturday, March 26, at 11am.
Donations can be made either on the day or beforehand at the cafe, My Optical or online at leukaemia.org.au.
