Hay shed engulfed by flame north of Warwick

A LARGE amount of smoke is affecting the Clifton area as fire crews fight a blaze in the town that has been burning since 3.38am this morning.

The 20m x 20m shed reportedly contains hay bales that have caught on fire.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services this morning said crews from Nobby, Clifton and Allora as well as a water tanker from Warwick were called to the blaze.

Crews are expected to remain at the private property on Shannon Rd today to monitor the fire.
