Shields shows style for Saints in Warwick hockey fixtures

HOCKEY: Bree Shields had an amazing game at goalkeeper in the Saturday game between Saints and Corinthians in Warwick ladies hockey.

Corinthians won 5-0 with doubles to Lauren Eastwell and Danielle Cook but the margin would have been much larger except for the efforts by Shields at the back of an under-strength Saints team.

Kyle Dawson was the leading scorer for the week netting four for Corinthians in a men's win against Harlequins.

Condamine Sports Club Team Player Awards were won by Justin Alley, Kyle Dawson and Sian Hegarty.

The final round of the Condamine Sports Club Super League will be played on Friday with the ladies match at 6.30pm and men at 8pm. Most interest will be in the ladies game as the 2016 title is wide open.
