Shoplifter strikes at Warwick shop

AN OPPORTUNISTIC thief has ripped off a Warwick business to the tune of hundreds of dollars.

At about 11.30am yesterday, a person entered the Betta Electrical store in Palmerin St, Warwick and left with a speaker valued at $300, without bothering to pay for it.

Police are in the process of obtaining CCTV footage of the theft in an effort to identify the solo offender.
