Shopping centre embraces rose and rodeo

THE Rose City is going Rodeo crazy and business and retailers are doing their bit to spread the rodeo spirit.

Rose City Shoppingworld marketing manager Louise de Lissa said many shops had gone to extreme lengths to jazz up their shop fronts.

"Many of the stores are dressing themselves and or their windows to take out prizes offered by Rose City Shoppingworld management," she said.

"It was a difficult decision but a few really did shine."

First prize went to Lowes for its extravagant window display embracing roses and the rodeo.

Clare's Hair Together and True Beauty took out second prize.

Highly commended went to Donut King, Wendys and Criterion Cellars.

Other activities on in the centre include Crazy Cartoon Rodeo Cut Outs which are positioned in the centre for customers to take their photo with.

Starting today their will also be country musicians in the centre.
