Make your own shortbread
Recipe: Heather Ferguson
½ cup caster sugar
2½ cups plain flour, sifted
Preheat oven to 190 degrees
Cream butter and sugar until well combined.
Add flour gradually and slowly mix until smooth.
Place mixture on work area and roll out to about 1 cm thick.
Cut squares or circle out and place onto lined trays.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, until lightly brown.
Cool on a wire rack.
