The show must go on for Amber Lawrence at the RSL

THE show will go on at the Warwick RSL Memorial Club tomorrow night for Amber Lawrence, despite unforseen circumstances leading to her fellow performer Jason Owen having to withdraw from the performance.

Amber will now be joined on stage in the King's Theatre by fellow country music star Travis Collins, who is best known for his guitar playing talent and powerhouse vocals.

While Amber said it's a shame that Jason won't be performing alongside her, she was very excited about performing alongside Travis once again.

"The Jason fans will be disappointed, but they will love Travis," she said.

"We've got an awesome, awesome replacement - he's just amazing."

The show will continue the same, with the duo still to finish up with a popular duet - Islands in the Stream.

Amber, who has just begun working on her fourth album, said she loves being on the road and performing.

"It's great to be in different parts of the country," she said. "I've just returned from a few weeks in America working on my album - it was amazing. I've never performed in Warwick but have had a lot of messages from people saying they're coming along."

The Islands in the Stream show kicks off in the Warwick RSL Memorial Club's King's Theatre at 8pm, with tickets priced at $25 for members, $29 for non-members and $15 for children 14 years and under.

Tickets are available by phoning the RSL on 4661 1229.
