Warwick Showgrounds home to night of Halloween horror
THE poultry and caged bird pavilions might not look scary from the outside, but don't let looks fool you.
Tomorrow night the sheds will be turned into houses of horror, decked out to frighten the life out of locals.
Who knows what terrifying things they'll find in the Asylum Escape and Abandoned Factory mazes inside.
Organised by Video Ezy, the Warwick Night of Horrors is shaping up be the town's biggest celebration of Halloween.
Video Ezy owner Jeff Clark said he wanted to give people something to do for Halloween.
"It's something and safe fun for people who don't want to go trick or treating," he said.
There'll be something for all lovers of horror at the showgrounds, including Laser Skirmish, the mazes, a jumping castle and a bungee run.
For the bravest older kids in the crowd there'll be a free screening of a super scary horror film.
The flick will be shown on a 20ft screen, in one of the pavilion sheds - with popcorn, sausage sizzle and pizza available on site.
For those planning a scary night in with a movie, there'll be plenty of surprises at Video Ezy in Palmerin St.
"We'll have a world-class magician down at the store. He was a finalist on America's Got Talent," Mr Clark said.
"There'll be trick or treating all night at the store."
