Side is D Grade by name, not by nature in WIRAC futsal
FUTSAL: D Grade Champions proved they may need to change their name after defeating Unknown Quantities 13-3 in Thursday night's Futsal Competition.
Ian Rowling and Darren Shuptrine both played well for Unknown Quantities but were no match for last season's runner's up.
Zooma added another win to its growing tally by defeating Team Name 15-2 in another dominant performance, opening the scoring in dramatic fashion with a spectacular volley from Luciano Fontana.
Tyrone Roberts of Team Name played an exceptional game and picked up MVP points from both umpires and was voted best on his team by the opposition.
Crittaz defeated Finger Lickin' Good 6-4 in the final game of the evening.
Crittaz goalkeeper, Will West earned praise from his teammates for stopping several critical scoring opportunities by the opposition.
He was supported well by teammate, Jonny Enosa who provided solid defence while still setting up goals down the other end. - Alex Cutmore
