Sign on today for hockey 2017, Warwick style

SIGN on today to play hockey in 2017.

Hockey is a fantastic family-friendly team sport for people of all ages. Not only is it social and a great way to exercise, all players have an opportunity to play hockey on a turf field identical to that used at the London Olympics.

The season starts in March and hockey games are played in Warwick each week, with juniors playing on Saturday mornings, mixed on Tuesday nights, A-grade ladies on Wednesday nights and A-grade men on Thursday nights.

Junior players attend skills training with their coaches and team members before to their Saturday games, with optional training available after school on weekdays.

The club will introduce the national hockey program, Hookin2Hockey, for players aged 4-7 years.

Junior and senior players have an opportunity to compete in representative teams at state titles and may also have an option to attend Warwick-based development days, coaching courses and our annual super league competition.

Sign-on will be from 9-11am this Saturday at Queens Park and players can not only sign up to play for the year and also have a go at playing hockey.

If you would like to make hockey your sport in 2017, come to the sign-on day, find us on Facebook or go to www.warwickhockeyassoc. org.au.
