Home invader's sketch released

POLICE have released a sketch of one of four alleged offenders in last week’s attack on two people in their Weewondilla Rd home.

A witness worked with police to help put together the illustration of the man, the only one among the offenders the witness could get a clear view of.

He has been described as about 180cm tall with short blonde hair, a stocky build, Caucasian and aged between 30-35.

The four men broke into the Glennie Heights home last Wednesday evening, assaulting the 42-year-old woman and 45-year-old man inside.

The man had to be hospitalised for five days with fractured ribs and a fractured hand.

Warwick Criminal Investigation Branch Detective Senior Constable Glen Roche said investigations were continuing into the attack.

“We’re employing a number of avenues and seeking public assistance in relation to the (illustration),” he said.

Anyone who recognises the person, or has any information regarding the home invasion, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000 or Warwick Police on 4660 4444.
