Snag a bargain book at big Warwick sale

THERE'S nothing like getting lost in a great novel and Warwick residents will have the chance to pick up a whole bundle at a bargain price this weekend.

Selling books for no more than $2, the Lifeline Warwick Bookfest will help make reading accessible while also supporting a worthy cause.

Lifeline Darling Downs and South West Queensland business services manager Angela Klein said there would be many novels and children's books up for grabs.

"Some children's books are very expensive so we're keeping the kids books very inexpensive so they'll go on and read and like education throughout their years,” Ms Klein said.

All books will be priced at $2 but children's books will be no more than $1.

The event will run from 3-8pm on Friday and 8am-2pm on Saturday at St Mary's Parish Hall, on the corner of Wood St and Acacia Ave.

Eftpos will be available.
