SNAKEBITE: Paramedics rush to Warwick victim

UPDATE: A man in his 70s has been taken to Warwick Hospital after a suspected snake bite.

The patient reportedly drove himself to meet paramedics and was treated on the Cunningham Hwy near Warwick before being transport.

It is unknown what type of snake bit the man who is in a stable condition.

EARLIER: WARWICK paramedics are on scene with a snake bite victim on the Cunningham Hwy.

It's not yet clear how the incident occurred but an ambulance spokeswoman said the victim had been bitten on the arm and a call was placed to 000 at 4pm.
