Snap with Santa will help fund the caring

PET owners from across the Southern Downs headed to the Warwick Animal Welfare Association's Santa Paws fundraising event for a photo of their pets with Santa at the weekend.

Warwick Animal Welfare Association vice-president Jenny Alker said the event had become quite popular.

"The money we raise from the photos we sell goes to feeding, re-homing and de-sexing the animals we have," she said.

Ms Alker said the event not only helped raise money but also saw a number of pets adopted.

However there are still 15 kittens and four cats in need of a home.

Ms Alker said the group was always looking for donations and anyone wanting to help could contact the group on 0447 801 909.
