DESPITE a large crowd at the Stanthorpe races, police said no trouble of any consequence was experienced on Saturday.
As the crowd moved into Stanthorpe CBD, police attended a number of minor incidents, most of them alcohol-related.
A fight broke out between a number of males in High St near the intersection of Lock St about 8pm.
Police attended, but the group had moved on when they arrived.
A short time later, a delivery driver from Red Rooster reported damage to the delivery vehicle while they were doing a delivery in Smith St, Stanthorpe.
Two males were given an official move-on direction by police about midnight that night, after they were evicted from a Stanthorpe venue due to their behaviour.
Meanwhile, a 25-year-old male was issued with a $121 infringement for urinating in public in the main street of Stanthorpe.
Two drink drivers were intercepted later that night.
The first, a 44-year-old woman, was intercepted driving in Folkestone St about 10pm.
The woman returned a reading of 0.062%. The second was intercepted at about 2am Sunday morning in High St. The driver of this vehicle recorded a reading of 0.125%.
