RUGBY LEAGUE: The Warwick Cowboys club is seeking nominations for reserve and second-division coaches for the 2017 season.

The club has already re-appointed Matt Grew as under-18 coach and expect to announce an A-grade coach within the week.

Club president David O'Leary said the Cowboys had two applications for A-grade coach.

"We are still seeking applications for reserve and second-division coaches,” he said.

In the 2016 season, the reserve-grade side under coach Tim Doyle made the President's Cup final and the top-five before going down to Valleys in the finals series.

Doyle has not nominated again for the role in 2017.

Earlier this week, the Daily News reported that O'Leary was standing down as president at the October 26 annual general meeting to spend more time with his young family.

Anyone interested in the role of president, being part of the committee or applying for the available coaching roles can email O'Leary on cowboyspresident@hotmail.com
