SOTE young'uns primed for musical

NOT far from the willows lining the banks of the Condamine River, the primary school students at the School of Total Education are preparing for this year's musical production The Wind in the Willows.

They have been rehearsing for the past two months.

Year 4 students Ben Finlayson, who plays a field mouse, said he had enjoyed rehearsals.

"I am looking forward to seeing it all come together during dress rehearsals this week and the performances on Friday and Saturday evenings." he said.

School principal Shane Power said the parents had worked as hard as the students.

"We are lucky to have creative parents to help out with the costumes," he said.

The play will be held at the Vijayadev Yogendra Auditorium, at 2 Freestone Rd.

Shows start at 7.30pm Friday and Saturday.

Tickets are available from the school office: $15 for adults and $10 for students and concessions.

To reserve tickets phone 4661 2666.
