Southern Downs makes big screen debut in Wanted premiere

SOME of the Southern Downs most picturesque scenery will make its big screen debut when Wanted premieres on Channel 7 tonight.
The television series, starring Gold Logie winner Rebecca Gibney and Home and Away heart throb Steve Peacocke was filmed across the region last year.

Areas such as King St in Warwick, Stanthorpe, Killarney, Leslie Dam, Sandy Creek, Clifton and Allora are set to appear in the series.
Gibney stars as Lola, an everyday woman whose life is turned upside down when she and a complete stranger intervene in a fatal carjacking at a suburban bus stop.
The series follows them as they run from authorities across Australia in a car full of cash.
Wanted premieres at 9pm on Channel 7.
