Southern Downs residents must retune TVs to tune in
SOUTHERN Downs television viewers have been warned they will not automatically be able to view the new free-to-air channels coming online this week.
Television technician Robert Partington said he had received a number of calls yesterday asking about the changes.
"The new channels are incompatible with some television sets," Mr Partington said.
"Those residents keen to watch the new channels who can't get the channels clearly may have to purchase a new television set or a MPEG4 compatible set-top box."
