Sparks fly from powerline on Warwick roof

FIRE crews were called to a home on Aspinall St last night because the powerline to the home was sparking.

A small flame had reportedly started on a service line to the top of the roof.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said crews were called to the scene about 11.58pm and removed the primary fuse to cut the power to the house.

Ergon Energy then reportedly attended the scene.

Fire crews left the scene at 12.45am.

There was no damage done to the home and no one suffered injuries in the incident.
