Sport is a privilege: Paul Dyer
IT is a privilege to play sport and should be used as that, according to Brisbane Broncos development manager Paul Dyer.
Dyer and Fletcher Holmes from the Broncos were in Warwick to present trophies on Monday after the Broncos Cup netball and rugby league finals.
“We don’t realise how lucky we are to play sport,” Dyer said.
“Use sport as an opportunity to get together, to meet people, travel. You guys are no different (to the professional), never forget that.”
Dyer paid tribute to organiser Nerelle Goodwin (Assumption), the referees, committees, coaches, staff and players.
