Spring-time festival a beauty
THE oval at Warwick West State School was transformed into a wonderland, with hundreds of Rose City families turning out for the school's annual fete yesterday afternoon.
From prams weighed down with show bags to the laughter of children on the rides, the Warwick West State School was a hive of activity for its big event.
Warwick West State School teacher aide Debbie Beveridge said it was great to see such a wonderful attendance.
"Kerri Walters (P & C president) has done a wonderful job organising this event," she said.
"The kids have definitely been excited - especially this week." Alongside his mum, student Jack Beveridge was having a great afternoon's fun. "I love the rides - the laser tag and the swings," he said.
