Stall holder predicts even brighter future for Uber Markets
GATTON stall holder Ken Stenhouse has been travelling to markets across the country for more than a decade.
Of all the markets he’s been to, the Uber Markets are among his favourites.
Mr Stenhouse, who sells a colourful assortment of items including bright patterned clothing and shawls, crystals and photo framing, was one of first stallholders to sign up with the Uber Markets.
While he’s missed a few of the monthly markets during the past 12 months, he’s made it one of his permanent destinations.
“Christie (Russell) is lovely and she does a great job running it,” he said.
“It’s a lovely spot here in the park and there’s a real variety of stuff for sale.”
Mr Stenhouse said he believed the popular markets had the potential to grow even bigger.
“I think that in time it would grow and bring more people in.
“Warwick certainly has the population to support it.”
