Warwick Clay Target Club member Pat Norman sorely missed

ONE minute's silence and a squad salute marked the passing of valued Warwick Clay Target Club member Pat Norman.

Pat was presented with a Warwick club honorary life membership in December, 2006, in recognition of the quality of his service to the club.

In marking his passing last Friday, current president Michael Loy said that Pat Norman was a member of the club since the early 1990s when he retired to Warwick.

"It wasn't his years of service which led to his life membership, rather it was the quality of his service," Michael said.

"Pat has been at the grounds every second day doing something for the club and he's been doing it for years," he said.

"Right from when he first joined the club, Pat had been a worker and he was drafted on to the committee pretty early on and we've never been sorry.

"He became a real club stalwart."
