Stanthorpe beats Killarney Cutters

RUGBY LEAGUE: Leaders Stanthorpe proved too good for Killarney with a 58-12 win at Charlie Andrews Oval on Saturday.

Zac Hendry was the players' player for the winners and was well supported by the McIntosh brothers, Jarrod and Ryan, Ben Staley and Jason Wilmot.

Inside back Chris McGregor was one of the best for Killarney. Stanthorpe won the women's league tag game after taking control in the second half against the improving Killarney.

In the game at Tenterfield, the home side moved closer to securing a home semi-final with a 50-26 victory against Wallangarra.

Tenterfield maintained their unbeaten record in the past two seasons of women's league tag with a 24-0 win against the Ramettes from Wallangarra.

In men's reserve-grade, Tenterfield won 50-18.

In A-grade, prop Adam Genninges was the players' player for the winners with Bennett Sutton strong.
