Stanthorpe YMCA on brink of insolvency after funding cut

A GREATER-THAN-EXPECTED cut to council funding could push the Stanthorpe YMCA off the edge, according to Cr Vic Pennisi.
The organisation claimed it had been pushed to edge of insolvency after the council cut its funding by more than the forecast 5%.
Cr Pennisi said the YMCA funding had been cut by "significantly more".
Councillors voted unanimously to consider aligning the cuts back to 5%.
