State fourth capped top year for winner Bridget

BRIDGET Noble is a Daily News/Warwick Credit Union monthly junior sports star winner after recording a fourth place on her horse Bluey in state championship showjumping.

She is one of 11 monthly winners from 2016 who will be honoured at the annual awards night early this year.

Last year, she went into year 7 at Warwick State High School and competed for the school team in showjumping and was one of the youngest riders in the 80cm class for riders 12 to 18 years. She finished fourth in the 80cm class in the Interschool State Showjumping Championships.

She first competed at state level in 2015 when she was reserve champion in her first state championships at Maryborough riding Bella.

Bridget started riding at age nine and received lessons as a birthday present under coach Christine Bradfield at Bradun Park. She now receives specialist coaching from Christine's daughter Amy.
