Steketee in Big Bash match against Hurricanes
WARWICK paceman Mark Steketee is in the 13 for tomorrow night's KFC T20 Big Bash League match against the Hobart Hurricanes in Hobart.
Tasmanian Tigers batsman Alex Doolan comes into the 13-man Heat squad in place of Joe Burns who has linked with the Australian team in Melbourne to prepare for the Boxing Day Test against the West Indies.
Doolan is the only change to the Heat squad that lost its opening game of the BBL on Saturday night in a last over thriller against the Melbourne Renegades at the Gabba.
If he plays, the former Test player will join fellow Tasmanian squad member Andrew Fekete as Heat players who know the Blundstone Arena conditions intimately.
The Heat lost a high-scoring affair at the venue last year, charging to a total of 209 only to see the Hurricanes chase down the target with an over remaining and six wickets in hand.
Wicket-keeper Jimmy Peirson and Peter Forrest put on 119 for the Heat in a strong opening stand in that BBL|04 game.
Hobart will have their own inside knowledge, with ex-Brisbane allrounder Dan Christian finding a new home with the Hurricanes after four years with the Heat, and my FootDR Queensland Bulls duo Simon Milenko and Cameron Boyce in the Hobart squad.
Brisbane Heat v Hobart Hurricanes
