Stellar results for young Warwick dancers

WINNING the trophy for most promising group 12 years and under capped off a stellar weekend for The Dance Centre - Warwick.

They won the trophy for one of their tap routines at the Lockyer District Dance Festival in Gatton.

The 12 years group also claimed first prize in the slow modern class.

The school took 13 dances to the eisteddfod and came home with 11 places - an impressive feat given the tough standard of competition.

Principal Leah Doherty was ecstatic with the results.

She described the dedication of students in all age groups as "amazing" and paid tribute to their focus in delivering and performing their dances.
