Stolen car set alight in Warwick

POLICE and fire crews were called to a blazing car on Leslie Dam Rd last night.

Reports of a car on fire came through to emergency services at about 7pm.

Police report the vehicle was allegedly stolen from an address in Beaudesert in late October.

Fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze and about 100sqm of scrub that also caught alight as a result of the fire.

The fire reignited grass at the scene at about 1am this morning and once again fire crews were called to the scene.

Police have attended the scene this morning and their investigations are continuing.
