Storm King Dam hosts Qld waterski championships

STORM King Dam will again be the venue for the Waterski Queensland State Championships to be held this weekend.

This year, Waterski Queensland will be hosting a come and try special event on Friday afternoon where interested people can learn the basics of waterskiing.

Spectators are invited to watch the competition heat up on Saturday and Sunday from the picturesque Storm King Dam foreshore.

Similar arrangements will be in place as have been in previous years, for example, during the competition on Saturday and Sunday, the boat ramp and waters will be closed to the general public.
