Street meeting for the orienteers

STREET orienteering will return to Warwick tomorrow with the third of a series of weekly runs from 2.30pm at Leslie Park.

All interesting participants welcome to Leslie Park for starts from 2.30-3.30pm over 3km, 5km, 7km and shorter for juniors.

New participants are welcome, all that is needed is the entry fee of $5, compasses will be provided.

Shannon Petersen said she liked street orienteering as the track was not the same each time.

"The changes make it more interesting,” she said.

Alex Freeman debuted in orienteering a fortnight ago and said the event was lots of fun. Information www.oq.asn.au/events-calendar
