Striker scores double in Avengers 11th successive win

FOOTBALL: Noah Dwan landed two penalties as Glove Accounting Avengers won the junior premier grand final in Warwick football from Furniture Zone Force.

The two goals took Dwan's tally for the season to 30. The third Avengers goal was a long range shot from Jacob Walters.

The victory made it 11 wins in succession for Avengers.

Mitch Scheiwe scored the goal for the Force after good leadup work from Jack Booth and Kydan Charles.

The Avengers win was the first in four years and first in three grand finals for coach Mark Brunt.

"We lost our first two games of the season,” Brunt said.

"It is always a tight game against Force.”
