Stroll, swing and Sourced markets: Don't miss it
THE Warwick Credit Union Stroll 'n' Swing today is one of the most popular events on the Jumpers and Jazz events calendar.
Past years have seen Palmerin St almost full to overflowing with market stalls, performers, jazz musicians and crowds of people from Warwick and beyond, taking in the sights and sounds of the ninth day of the festival.
Come for the Suitcase Rummage, which has moved into the main street due to its popularity, come for the music at Bryson's Place and the town hall, and don't miss the Sourced markets.
Stretching from Duggan's Camera Centre rright up to Classic Dimensions, Sourced is taking the region's food and wine to the street.
Palmerin St will be brought to life with the aromas of freshly prepared seasonal, regional delights that market co-ordinator Amy Walker said would keep festival goers coming back for more.
"Sourced is going to wow with its street-food,” she said. "Friendship Food is honouring the year of the pulse with spicy baked beans, Cicada Woman will be back with last year's sell-out wattle seed ice-cream, Seasonal Feast will have mallow lamb koftas and seasonal soup and that's just a start.
"For those wanting to slow down and watch the festival pass by, you'll be able to buy a glass of Ballandean Estate wine, a Bluebird Kitchen coffee made with Norco milk or a crisp glass of locally-grown apple juice."
Strollers and swingers will be able to kick back at casual tables with friends or family members and take in the atmosphere of a glorious day.
The Warwick Credit Union Stroll 'n' Swing will run from 9.30am-3.30pm.
