Strong field of horses for Allora Cup race day

THERE are 120 nominations for the Railway Hotel Allora Cup race meeting on Sunday at Allman Park.

The cup over 1350m has attracted 18 nominations with $20,000 prize money on offer.

There are 23 nominations for the Ray Bunch Machinery RQ Cannonball Series BenchMark 65 Handicap over 800m with prize money of $16,000.

The other five races all have $10,000 prize money.

Warwick Turf Club president Phil Grant said he was happy with the number of nominations for a Sunday meeting.

The cup meeting is one of three TAB meetings during the rest of the calendar year.

Weights will be declared at 5pm tomorrow,.
