Students celebrate with My First Year

NOW that school is back and students are settled into their routines, it's time to celebrate the school year with a new and improved version of the Warwick Daily News' popular Making the Grade publication.

This year the colourful guide to schooling has undergone some changes, officially renamed 'My First Year'.

As a one-off this year, My First Year will not only have photos of Prep and Year 1 students - but also the Year 7s.

Warwick Daily News office manager Lara Brackin said the Year 7 students would be included just this once to commemorate the first year the grade has been included in high school.

"My First Year includes all schools on the Southern Downs from Clifton and Nobby down to Inglewood, Texas and the Stanthorpe area," she said.

My First Year will be inserted in the Warwick Daily News on Wednesday, March 25 - with a limited number of back copies available for those parents who miss out.

This glossy 40-page publication will feature hundreds of local school students, and is a popular memento to give to friends and family members.

For parents who want to order photos as a special keepsake, they will be available from the Warwick Daily News office.

To place a photo order, email mindi.devine@ warwickdailynews.com.au or phone the office on 4660 1355.
