Students set for musical

FOR 13 weeks, the School of Total Education's high school students have been hard at work perfecting their performance for this year's musical - A Fiddler on the Roof.

One of the show's directors Michael Fender said it was a top-class musical.

"It is about the Jewish people and their situation, it is a very poignant musical," he said.

Year 11 student Isobel Gordon said it was the first time she had been involved in one of the school's musicals.

"I have never done anything like this before and I just wanted to do it before I finished school.

"It has been a good experience and I think I will have gained a lot of confidence."

The musical, held at SOTE's Vijayadev Yogendra Auditorium is on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night starting at 7.30pm.

Adult tickets cost $15 and students and concessions are $10 each.

To book your seat phone SOTE on 4661 2666.
