Suburbs are the semi hosts for Saturday
RUGBY LEAGUE: Eastern Suburbs Junior Rugby League will host all semi finals in the Warwick and District Junior Rugby League this Saturday from 9am.
The Goondiwindi Boars have teams in five semis and Collegians four teams to head the clubs involved.
For the first time, Goondiwindi has fielded multiple teams in the one grade in the league and both the maroon and blue teams from Boars territory are in the U14 semis.
Collegians have multiple teams in two grades and the U14 Red and U16 Blue teams will play finals footy.
This year's finals will be the first for the MIT Jets under their new name.
The Jets is a combination of players from Millmerran, Inglewood and Texas which played as Millwood in the past but now is associated with the Ipswich Jets club which plays in the Intrust Super Cup. The MIT Jets played one round of club games in Ipswich.
The girls leaguetag competition is getting stronger by the season and this year's finals are at 9am and 11.20am on Saturday at Suburbs.
The final game of the day is on the main Suburbs field with Goondiwindi playing Collegians Blue in U16s at 2.55pm. Six games are on the main field and three on the second Suburbs field. Admission is $5 adults with children 16 years and under free.
