Sun sets on storm season
IT WAS a misty morning for Warwick yesterday, with fog lingering through the early morning.
More fog was expected this morning as a cool upper atmosphere caused a fog layer to form at the surface.
The foggy conditions are due to the lingering moisture from Friday's storm front.
Meteorologist Sam Campbell said any clouds would soon pass for much finer days ahead.
"We're looking at a run of fine and mostly sunny days well into next week," he said.
"It will also be warming up a little bit in the next couple of days, at about five degrees above average, before returning to average temperatures on Thursday."
Daytime temperatures are expected to reach up to 26 degrees today and tomorrow, while overnight temperatures will dip to about 10 degrees.
However Mr Campbell said low levels of wind and clear skies would likely bring a chance of frost later in the week.
"There is possibly the chance to see frost increasing again from Friday onwards," he said.
"It is a very slowly changing pattern but we're expecting good conditions for the most part."
There are sunny skies and light winds forecasted for the rest of this week.
Daytime temperatures will peak in the low 20s through to next week, while overnight temperatures are expected to drop to 5 degrees Celsius at the weekend.
