Supporters are ready to back the Wattles boys in Toowoomba

A LARGE crowd of fans from the Allora and Clifton areas will head to Toowoomba this afternoon to back Wattles in the Madsen-Rasmussen Shield final.

The team will be without forward Harry Fulwood, who is injured, but will still field a top team. Fulwood went through the grades with Wattles and has been a star in A-grade since his promotion.

The Wilson brothers, Dylan and Braydon, from Pittsworth, are in their second seasons for the Wattles.

Dylan is a crowd pleaser with his hard running in the forwards while Braydon is one of the fastest wingers in the competition.

Braydon led the list of TRL try scorers until he missed the final fixture game last season and was pipped at the post.

He is again in the list of leading try scorers this season.

Dylan is one of four forwards on the bench for the Wattles.

If the Wattles need a replacement in the backs, co-captain Ryan Duggan may move from the back row. Nathan Gaulton has the ability to play second row or centre.

Former Queensland Cup player Jake Hargreaves and Allora youngster Nick Van Der Poel will combine in the centres to set up opportunities for wingers Braydon Wilson and Andrew Richardson.
