WE WOULD like to say a big thank you for all the help and support we have received from this community!

Whilst this is a significant achievement, we still have a long way to go.

The central mission of Cancer Council QLD, and the many volunteers who help put the organisation's plans into operation, is to defeat cancer.

I know we have heard all this before and we read about it every day, but it is the only way we will rid ourselves of this disease.

Volunteers are the key to the success of our mission.

The enthusiasm and dedication of our branch volunteers, who organise and run fundraising events, continues to bring satisfaction and joy.

We have seen many faces come and go but there are a few who have been here for many many years who really believe in Cancer Council's mission statement, and its contribution to the community.

But we are always looking

for new members/volunteers who have the heart and want to be paid in six figures -

I chose to volunteer for Cancer Council because, after I went through my cancer journeys, I wanted to do something to give back to those who had helped me.

I strongly encourage others to volunteer with our branch.

It provides an opportunity to interact with the community and meet a diversity of people.

If you are a survivor a cancer, if you are/were a carer for a member of your family or a friend, if you have never been diagnosed with cancer, we encourage you to become a volunteer with our branch.

Our branch meets on the first Tuesday of every month at the Senior Citizens Centre, 13A Albert Street Warwick commencing at 6.30pm. For any further information please contact:
