Sydney company targets X Factor singer

SHE may not have made it past the Bootcamp stage on TV show The X Factor, but Aaliyah Warren's career is set to soar to new heights.

The Mackay 15-year-old has been head-hunted by an entertainment company that wants to help develop her singing abilities further in Sydney and maybe one day in the United States.

Creative Dreams Entertainment's Ryan Buckland said he saw Ms Warren's audition and wanted to get in touch with the family.

"We call it the package - she's got the voice, she's got the look and the personality and she's got a really good support network too," Mr Buckland said.

He's offered Ms Warren the chance to sing in a studio in Sydney during the school holidays next month. She is the only person from X Factor he's approached and Mr Buckland said it was because she was still young enough to develop her skills.

The young singer is excited about the opportunity and has been singing constantly after school.

"This is all new to us and it's a huge opportunity," her excited mother Ariana Warren said.

"We wouldn't be able to do this sort of thing without someone offering us the opportunity."
