Tahlia set to don sash for show

IT'S the fairy floss and scary rides that keep Tahlia Kirstenfeld going back to the Warwick Show year after year and 2012 will be no different - except for one thing.

The 13-year-old Assumption student said this year she would wear the Miss Junior Show girl sash and she couldn't wait.

"I am really excited, but I am nervous," she said.

"I just hope I get everything right."

Tahlia said she was excited about meeting new people in the quest and would be calling on her love of drama - her favourite subject - to help push through the nerves.

She said she loved also spending her free time "hanging with friends" and reading.

"I like (reading) because you get to become some one else," Tahlia said.
