Time to support local businesses

TO ENCOURAGE visitors, the Warwick and Boonah Visitor Information Centres have launched Take the High Road to Win.

Warwick VIC supervisor Charee Aspinall said visitors were invited to enter the promotion by taking the Falls Drive, located between Boonah and Killarney and supporting participating businesses.

“Businesses on the Falls Drive and Killarney have suffered as a result of the wild weather we saw early in the year,” she said.

Entry forms are at the Warwick Visitor Information Centre.

When a visitor makes a purchase at two or more participating businesses they will receive a stamp on their entry form.

First prize is valued at more than $700 and includes two nights accommodation, a guided tour of Condamine Gorge with Cambanoora Co Tours, dinner at Killarney Hotel and lunch at Spring Creek Mountain Cafe.
