Tansey too good in polocrosse at the Clifton carnival

POLOCROSSE: Tansey won four of the seven grades in the Clifton Polocrosse Club carnival at the weekend.

In A grade, Tansey 3 was victorious from Tansey 1 with Andrew Phillips winning best horse and rider.

Tansey 2 won B grade, Tansey 4 C grade and Tansey 5 F grade.

Clifton 1 was victorious in E grade with a 10-8 final win against Warwick 4.

Warwick won junior A from Cunningham.

Paul Moody from Clifton won best horse and rider in E grade and Tori Elder from the host club won the junior encouragement award.

South East zone polocrosse action will now move to Killarney for a carnival this weekend.

The Killarney club has been re-vitalised this season with some new players.
