Technology for business explained over breakfast

IT IS important for all Southern Downs businesses to have access to the best technology available to support growth and maintain their relevance to customers and suppliers.

To understand what this means on the Southern Downs, the Economic Development Unit and the Chamber are inviting interested business people and residents to a breakfast meeting on Wednesday, August 6.

At the meeting guests will hear from a Queensland Government representative who will give an overview of the importance and impact that effective technology can have on business bottom line.

Paul will be joined by Graham Soawyer from the NBN Co who will discuss fixed wireless technology and how this will benefit many people in areas with the greatest need for fast broadband.

Graham will also briefly touch on the NBN satellite component and the roll out of the fixed line network.

 When: Wednesday, August 6, 7-8.30am

 Where: Cafe Jacqui's, Albion St

Cost: $15 (payable on the day)
